Go ahead and click on "Open a new tab" icon and go to whichever Web site you would like to visit. Once you're done looking around, just make sure the tab you want to close is selected and just click your mouse wheel. That tab will automatically close and you can go to another site or whatever you'd like to do.
You can also use your mouse wheel with the Back and Forward buttons. Just click the middle mouse button (the wheel) and away you go.
